In July we were glad to welcome Dr. G. Stewart Ramosy who has come to our Assistance for a year.

The number of in-patients is nearly as large as say on record, notwithstanding the Revolution and sequaire of piracies and fighting which has kept many women patients away. This has also brought to the Hospital large number of serious gunshot and bomb wounds, about hundred

of the former and thirty five of the latter | brought in at all hours of the day and night. Such injuries are now treated by the Army surgeons and Red Cross Societies.
