The Ramil Daily Mail stalo that ́s diamond weighing 1,640 carats has been discovered, after blasting, at the fook of the Premier Mins.
The stone, adila the Journal in the largest in the world now that the Cullinan split up. It is the shape of an egg with the top cut off-Beater.
Prior to the present" discovery, the Cullinsa diamond-weighing in the rough stato 3,025 carice-was the largest in the world, and was valued at £200,000.
-Cut, at a cont of £10,000, into two large parate diamonds-woighing respectively 318 and 300 cats-the stones now adorn the Crown jewels of England-being alled respectively the larger and lesser stars of Africa." Four other large diamodes were also cut from the urginal Cullinan.
