The strike of apprentice engineers gainst the Insurance Act has spread from Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Dundee to every part of Scotland, many theu- sands of lads having been "out" for more than a fortnight. Of course, the strike will break down are long; but there remains a moral which he who runs may read-that the lawless spirit is spreading in a remarkable rammer downwarda, ond among the youth of the community.
