In the Summary Court yesterday before the Painne Judge (Mr Justice Gompertz), Liu Y, e, a chair coolie, sued J. L. Crockett, his former employer, élaiming 810.50 for wages alleged to be due. Mr Reader Harris, solistor, represented defendant.
His Lordshiprend the evidence given by plaintiff last Friday, from which it appeared that his wages were $10.50 a month. He was dismissed on July 2 and claimed.wages for the month.
