How Matters Are Progressing.

be wanting. In comparing this smount with that spent for the establishment of a similar Institute in Burms, we find that curs will only cost half as much as the latter, but even with a small sum like that Available locally we shall be able to have
a fairly good and up-to-date laboratory.
To obtain this nuouet in the earnest desire of all these in whose hands tho work has been placed and it is hoped that the public will show more generosity to wards the foundation of an lnstitution which is of such great value to them. In the expectation of receiving more funds, no more has as yet been made for the pur chase of anything except certain apparatus, the order for which was sent to France about a month agħ,
