For causing obstruction in the street with his cart, a Chinesu was fined $2. Other men were also convicted upon simijar charges.

The finding of Chinese who hawk with-- out licences seems to keep the police busy. Further cares were heard to-day, the gistrates imposing fines.
QUARRELSOME CHINESE.
Three respectably-attired Chinese worden and a man were charged with behaving in
