On his return trip from England, which he attended as one of the Suite of the Im perial Japanese delegation to the Corona. tion, Admiral Count Togo travelled across Vanaga by the Canadian Pacific Railway- which has been called the Alliance Route and was, therefore, rather sporo- priately oboson on this occasion by this distinguished representative of an Embassy between the Allies. By Instructions of the President of the Canadian Pacific Rail- way Company, Sir Thomas Shaughnessy Admiral Togo was the guest of the Com- pany throughout, and every effort was mada to make his trip pleasant.

The Admiral took the private car Canada. at Niagara Falls, proceeding to Band and theree to Vancouver. The Canada, it abocia be explained, was-the-car pecially bails for the present King and Queen of England, a few years ago, when they made their notable Canadian trip.
