PROGRESS OF CREMATION.
The progress of cremation in the United Kingdom is set forth by Dr Collingridge, the City Medical Officer of Health, in his annual report. In 1884 the well-known judgment of Mr Justice Stephen established the legality of cremation, and in the following Fear three cremations took place at Wok ing.
