A SHANGHAI TRAGEDY.
The denth took place in one of the rooms of the Grand Hotel, Bubbling Well Rand, some time between 9.p.m. on June 27th aud 9 am, on the 28th, under peculiarly tragic circumstances, of one of the guests named Mr T: C. Miller, late of Manila, who had been staying at the Hotel since his arrival at Shanghai from Llongkong some weeks ago. The deceased was last seen alive on the night of the 27th, when be had dinner in the dining room after which he exchanged a few words with one of the hotel sa, when he was apparently in good health and spirits. A little later he
retired to his room and nothing mors sas known until next morning, when one
