The Home Secretary has called for reports from the Chief Constables of the principal towas of Great Britain in which Mormon churcher have been' established, and is also seeking informua ion from the diplomatic representatives of this country abroad as to the objects of the Mormon missionaries, especially on the Continent is Arnold Ward, the Uniesist mother for Watford, had intended to mise the subject in the House of Commors on the motion for the adjournment over Easter. but the discussion was shut out by n báock- ing motion. The Prime Minister, however, then stated that until the inquiries nuw being made by the Home Secretary were completed the topic would not be ripa for debate in the Houso.
