'FFALDING'S ATHLETIO ALMANAC. We are received a copy of Spalding's Athletic Almanae for 1911 which is publish" ed by the American Sporta Fublishing Co., of 21 Warras Streat, New Yerle, at the modest price of ten cents. It comprises some 200 pages and is a valuable cecard book of all branches of athletics. A feature of the Almanac is the section devoted to stblotid records of the different countries of the work. Many pages are devoted to Fugland, France, Germany, Sweden, Ire land, Belgien, Bohemia, Holland, Finland, Australi, New Zealand, South Africa and other places. This is said to be the only book published which contains records.

of foreign countries The illustratione

clic almanac are oxceedingly good. The

most noted athletes of the day are shown,

as well na athletic scenes of notable in

cidents of the year. For these alone the book should be kept yearly, as they include the pictures of over one thousand athletes.
