The trouble has arisen over a letter which the Bishop of Lendon addressed to his Chancellor, Dr Tristram, to the effect that as the Chancellor had assumed to grant certain mariage licenses in his own name, ho (the Bishop) expressed his disapproval and conveyed his desire-and so far as he lawfully can his direction-that all marriage licaties shall be issued as heretofors in the aerof the Bishop of London, and that no license for a marriage of a divorced 天津平菜
