PORTRAITS OF BURNS..
An important addition has been macie' to the National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh
by
the acquision of the colubrated portrait of Robert, Burns by Archibald Skirang.
This portrait was one of the mast chorished possession of Sir Theodore Martih, “und shortly after his death the Gallery Trustoes approached his executors, with the result 100AL DEPARTMENT, that its purchase was arranged. The groupi
