Many people in Fongkang will remame ber the despatch from this port in 1908 of a German scientific expedition to the South Sun Tvinnds, and on its return of the send ing forth of a similar party to the Carolines, 1 Dr. Wilhelm Mueller took part in both expeditions as studiogist and linguist a recently passed through Hongkong on his way home and on route was interviewed by the Time of Ceylon, to whose repre sentative he told the following interesting story.
