The Reverend Father Director tendered a neat word of welcome and congratulation, which was followed by an address in Chinese from the students. Throughout the afternoon the bishop at- tended to the calls of an unending stream of 21 well-wishers. At 6p.m. a recherche dinner |was served in St. Josph's College at which the whole clerical body assisted. The Fer, Father Rector proposed the toast of the Levening. At 7p.m. the gathering adjourned to the dramatice all which was radiant with hunting and evergreen garlands curling in and out of happy decorative_expressions of good wishes. The pupils gave an admirable display of histriotic eficiency during a dzams in three acts and a one-act comedy, which were intersected with musical and emtorical gems in Latin, Chinese, Spanish and Portuguese.
