The case in which A. W. lett, chief timekeeper at Shatin on the Kowloon Canton Railway, claimed from Consable Grant 8225 damages for injuring plaintifa dog was resumed before Mr Justice Gompertz, at the Supreme Court to-day.

Mr W. Holborrow appeared for the plaintiff and Mr P. W. Goldring for the defondant.

Plaintiff was called and stated that when the dog was shot he had four at the bungalow where he lived. They were fastened up at night, generally between six o'clock and saven o'clock. The dogs generally remained on the promises unless they were with plaintiff. He had had the dog a little more than eighteen months and it had been given to him.
