Amid much interesting ceremonial and the commingling of British and Chinese interests a distinct step forward in the linking-up of Kowloon and Canten by mail was signalised on Wednesday, when His Excellency Vicemy Chang paid an official visit in the railway works on the Imperial Chinese Section of the Canton Kowloon Ralaxy, and also laid the foundation store of the general offices and station building at Tai Sha Tau, Canton.
