WWTBALL.
In the two Internationals played in Scotland, the Rugby at Edinburgh and the Assocation at Glasgow,-e home teams secured a victory.
In the Rugby International, Scotland beat Freland by nine to three. It could not be called a great game from any point of view, Perhaps its most conspicuous feature was the extrordinaty faculty which both forward is developed for serving the scrummage wound to the front of the goalposts. There was comparatively little back work, the ground loing, far to soft. The victory was due to the Scottish formada; the Irish forwards had no combination and used their old-fashion- ed rushing gine.
The Rugby dispute is settled.. Scotland has secured its point, the permanence of the amateur element; and by a little give and take with. England the friendly relatinae between the two countries are że established.
