Sir Honry Barkeloy anid it seemed that the only question for the jury ans, whether the man knew that the notes which he had tered and which be had in His-pos-casion were as a fact forgeries. The evidence was very clear as to the het of the forged character of the notes and the fact of the possession. The only question would be as to intent.
Mr Frank Stanley Allen, cashier at le Bank, said the paper of which the forged notes was composed was quite different to that of the genuine ones, while the sig natures of the sub-meccantant were printed ins oud of being written.
