The man, whose names are Horace Strollon, Charles Alkins, and Patrick Flynn, appeared at the Magistracy to-day before Mr J. H. Kemp and denied their guilt on the charges against them.

The evidence of the Arst rickshaw coolie was to the effect that the second defendant refused on pay him when he asked for his fare, and then struck him in the mouth. Witness called the police, and the three defendants were then arrested by an Indian eargeant.
