THE YAUMATI TRAGEDY.
The seven nativen who were Litosted in connection with the recent shooting tragedy at Yaumati, were brought before Mr J. Wood, at the Magistracy, this aftemoon, charged with breaking and entering & house at Yaumati and neing personal
violence to the inmates,
The charge of murder was withden. Mr King conducted the prosecution and. Mr E. J. Grist appanted to defend the seventh prisoner against whom, with the second and third prisoners, the charge of Armed robbery was withdrawn.
