SWATO, January 2. Our Christmas and New Year festivities passed off in beautiful weather. A bright service was held on Christmas morning with carol sing- ing by the chuir.
A football match was played in the afternoon between Swatow and an eleven drawn from the ships in the harbour. Swatow eventually won by five goals to one.
