COLLISION BETWEEN TRAM- CAR AND TRUCK.
A collision occurred between a truck and
two tamcais at Praya East, ently this morning, and as a result the polio in charge appeared before Mr J. H. Kemp, at the Magistracy, to-day, on a charge of aegligence. Mr A. Courae, of the Tramway Co., agaared to prostate. It apparel that one car came into contact with the truck which awang on to the line und nj car coming in the opposito also collided with the truck, Defendant was fined $1 and ordered to pay $38 compensation.
ALLEGED ASSAULT.
A native excise officer summoned one hoatman and two bhatwaraen, before Mr J. R. Wood, at the Biagistracy to-day, for In his evidence cory- alleged mult. plainant described how he was assaulted.
