STAMP ORDINANCE CASE.

There was ARmed at the Magistracy this morning, before Mr J. R. Wood, the case in which Messrs H. Ruttonjee and Sen were summoned under the stamp o dinance. Messrs Ruttonjes were previously summoned for having failed to comply with the ordinance in placing a stamp on a receipt of over $26, and when the case was heard it was dismissed by Mr J. R. Wood on the point of law that masters were not liable for acts of their servants. The Crown immediately took the multer to the Full Court sad the case
