A return has been-issued. as a Partin mentary Paper showing the number of lives lost in British: seagoing merchant ships during the years 1891 to 1907 is clusive. The return shows that for 1907% tha percentage of monsters and Reamer's lives lost by drowning, wreck, or offer aesident of persons employed, was 1.45, or': 1 in 1 for sailing ships, na ngainst 1.08 in 10, or 1 in 92.
