CANTON, June 5, Work has been began and is being pushed forward rapidly for the crection of natalieds to acccremiodato plague patients coming up from Hongkong. A regiment of Volunteers to be recruited from firms repre- sented by the Seventy-twoGuilds of Canton will come out to assist and to guard public safely. No herocone laips will be used in the mashed hospitals for fear of accidents. The Provincial Transazy has been opened to allow of the monny required for all necessary expense being drawn. There is, however, one drawback which hinders pro- gress.
