On April 9, a tiarible tragedy was ubnet- ed on bout the Dutch stoainet Van den Bosch, while on her way fixen Surabaya
to Batavia.
Feeling grieved, it is alleged, because he had en strack for coming inte an board, a native stoler, with knife in hand, attacked the fist engineer.
