During the trip North she ran into some very rough weather and show storms. When the vessel arrived at Vladivostock, she was covered with ice from stem to stern. No time was lost

when all the armagements were complete, the voyage was commenced, which con. sidering the condition of the Norrons, minus rudder and storm post, only one and a quarter blades on her propeller and hor engines so badly damaged that they could hardly turned eror, was no light bask for the Victoria. Fine weather was or perienced until the vessels were off Fun, Kores, when a strong pale sprang up from the north and became so bad that the vessels had to put into Fussn for shelter, arriving there at ten o'clock in the nilit of the 29th ultimo in a roaring gale. They remained there until 2 p.m. on the 1st inst., when the voyage was rosunied. Everything went well until the Saddles were sighted on the 4th just, when thick weather came on and this combined with the long growth of seawerd on the Farroun greatly impeded their pro- gees, and they did not arrive in port unti 1.20 p.m. on Dec. 6, when the Norrona was at once taken up river to the Tunkadoo Dock where she will midergo a complete overhaul and repairs. The round trip of the Victoris was thus completed in nineteen and a half days, and great vīnu aayo me copastus Olin and Firth. for the successful manner in which they accomplished their arduous task.
