A STRANGE STORY."

A peculiar story was told to the police regarding a disturbance in the Wanchai markets yesterday, and it is possiblà thst a charge of nunslaughter will result.

A man, named On Sung, went into the markets yesterday and from Stall 88 purchased a catty of pork, which was weighed on the stall-holder's scales. There, by the way, were tasted a couple of anya previously and found correct. When On Sang received the pork he weighed it on his own scufes and declared it to be two ounces short-weight.
