Y. M. C. A. CONCERT.

The Y.M.C.A, concert held in St. Andrew's Hall on Saturday evening was a great success. The attendance was large though not as large as was anticipated, but the storm which broke just before dinner no doubt kept many away. As it was

Mys Belilios also created a good impression by her singing of "La Serenata"-violin obligato by Mr J. P. F. Jokland was recalled. Later in the evening she sang again, giring Gounod's "Jewel- song" (Faust) with excellent effort and was again encored. Miss Blair, whose elocutionary powers are well-known to Hongkong Audiences, added to her already high reputation by her skilful handling of the rocitation "After the Ball," in which sho was accompanied on the piano by Mis Clark. A delightful piano solo-Nach maninoff's protude--by Mrs Longridge earned for the pianist hearty applaus which was well deserved. The four songs given by Mr G. P. Lammert were not given in this gentleman's best style, his voice not being in as good a form

Miserable From Itching-Cured Before Using One Complete Set of the Cuticura Remedies-Now Says: "It Ought to Be

A HOUSEHOLD WORD

THE NAME OF CUTICURA"

"I broke out witheriems through get- ting a severe cold. I was covered on my chest, back and limbs for five weeks. I could not rest day or night. I took ono vial of Cuticura Pille and used one box of Cuticura Ointment and one cake of Cuticura Sonp. I was eured before

had used ond set of the Outlours itamedics. I read about the cures of Caticura in the papers. I thought what they had done for one they could do for another, but after I had used Cuticura Soap for a day or two I believed it was a priceless remedy for anything, It was given a trial. In fact, I scarcely believed I was cured in so short a time, and I felt much better and stronger than I did before taking the set of Caticura Remedies. I shall not forget to recommend them to any one. If any one knew what the Cuticura Rem elica can do, there would not be so many doctor's bills to pay, when you can get a cure at a trifling cost. It ought to be a household word, the name of Cuticura. I should like to tell you, before I conclude, the rash made me feel so ill. Litched so and how miserable I was. I used the Soap and Ointment and felt better after the third applies- tion. I felt they were doing me good -but to be cured, and not to feel ill! I consider them remarkable remedies, and if only people knew what they can do for them, they all would want to be first to try them. I beg to say) never felt better than I do at present. T.
