Thaw of Pittsburg, the husband of Evelyn Nasbit, a well known artist model and chorus girl, ho is buing triod for the murder of Stanford White, a well known architect, in New York, on May 1, 1908.

The light-hearted demeanour of Mrs. Evelyn Thaw created comment during the opening of the case. The wife of the prisoner on trial for his life seemed to find considerablo amusement in the courtroom
