SHENGUAL, February 28. A meeting of shareholders in the China Merchants Steam Navigation Company was held here to-day, at which some two hundred shareholders were present, representing over twenty thousand shares.-
The object of the meeting was to Approach the Chiness Government with a view to regaining the manage. ment of the Company for the marakanta by whom and by whose money the Company was formed.
