Quite early in the morning (Qgjober 24) there was an suzious crowd of suffrageties waiting outside the police court in Roches ter-ram, Westminster, eagerly discussing the evocta which had led up to the case which was to be heard, Inside the lobby were the ten defendants and many of their: friends, laughing and chatting gally.
The cseo was the first on the list, the oharge being that the defendants were guilty of using threatening language or behaviour likely to cause a breach of the perde.
