WIRELESS TELIGRAPHY.
A Strange Discovery..!
A remarkable discovery in, connection with wireless tolegraphy has been made by the American Navy Department electricians. It appears that the power of wireless tale. graphy reaches its lowest point at sunrise and sopset, when, indeed, it becomes alment impossible to send mesages through the air. The matter is to be investigated as thoroughly as possible, and a series of exhaustive tests has already been begen at the stations along the Gulf of Mexico. The more northern stations will begin in the course of a few days, and most exact re- cords will be kept by all for a month. Mr Thatcher, of the American de Forest Wire- lees Company, when conmited on the subject, said that his operator had not noticed any such phenomenon, but he too
has given orders for a series of erpcial tests at his stations.
