The United States will one day realiso the sinister influence of a Pross with low ideale. That influence is being exerted upon a people only too ready to adopt im- pressions. License, not liberty, has made America the home of the most fantastic cranks in Christendom. In England the cult of Mrs Eldy amounts to little more then a fashionable topic of polito conversation; in the United States Christain Scientists are numbered by the inillion. If you want to hear what wonders Dr Williams' Pink Pillu can do, here are the facts of my «niraculous cure. I felt no ill-efect at first; but presently pains not in in my back. Í went to a doctor, and lay up for a fortnight. Ibanks to his skill. I got about again; but the palus returned, and though I managed to struggle on for a time I had to go into Hospital, and oven after I was sont home had to return for a further period. I was marly eight months under Hospital treat

After the third bottle I was a bit stronger; my appetite was getting decidedly better. The fourth bottle of pills enabled me to get out of bed and dress with a little as- istance. I kept on with the pills, and at fenth could do with one stick. Remember I had been in bed at home for six weeks: for nine weeks I walked with two sticks, and then for four weeks with one. Since then. I have had no stick at all Thoy tol me at the Houp tal that I had. Paralysis of the Spine, and would never walk any more.
