Cottor's whole action is so scrupulously fair that the criticism of anybody doubting it may bo disregarded as that of one who does not of whom there are a very large number in know anything about bowling. Australians, this country to-day, naturally resent such accusations. There was some reason for doubting the deliveries of T. R. McKibbin, of J. V. Saunders, and of E. Jones, who have been no-balled for throwing-as illegal delivery is often wrongly named-by first- class umpires, but every one of the bowlers of the present Australian team has a perfectly fair action.
