WILD WITH ECZEMA

And Other Itching, Burning, Scaly Eruptions with Loss of Hair.

Speedy Cure Treatment.

Bathe the affected parts with Hot Water and Cuticura Soap, to cleanse the surface of crusts and scales, and soften the thickened cuticle. Dry, without hard rubbing, and apply Cuticura Olotment freely, to allay Itching, Irritation, and Inflammation, and soothe and heal, and lastly take Cuticura Resolvent Plils, to cool and cleanse the blood. A single set is often sufficient to cure the most torturing, dis- figuring, itching, burning, scaly, pimply humours, eczemas, rashes, irritations, and chafings, with loss of hair, when all else fails.

The agonizing Itching and burning of the skin, as in eczema; the fright- ful scaling, as in psoriasis; the loss of hair and crusting of the scalp, as in scalled hend; the facial disfigurement, as in pimples and ringworm; the awful suffering of infants and the anxiety of worn-out parents, as in milk crust, tetter, and salt rheum,-all demand a remedy of almost superhuman virtues to successfully cope with them. Such are the CUTICURA remedies, the purest, sweetest, most speedy and economical curatives for the skin, scalp, and blood ever compounded. Mothers are their warmest friends.

Millions of Women Use Cuticura Soap

Assisted by CUTICURA OINTMENT for preserving, purifying, and beautify. ing the skin, for cleansing the scalp of crusts, scales, and dandruff, and the stopping of falling hair, for softening, whitening, and soothing red, rough, and sore hands, for baby rashes and chafings, in the form of baths for annoying irritatious and inflammations of women, or too free or offensive perspiration, In the form of washes for ulcerative weaknesses, and many sanative, antiseptic purposes which really suggest themselves, as well as for all the purposes of the toilet, bath, and nursery.

CUTICURA RESOLVENT PILLS (Chocolate Coated) are a new, tasteless,

odourless, economical substitute for the cole. brated liquid CUTICURA RESOLVENT, as well as for all other blood puriders and bumour cures. Put up in screw-cap pocket vials, containing 50 doses.

of the Chambers, maintaining that in twof the Domestic Cleanliness and Ventila- of the cases cited the initiative was taken by the local Governments concerned with- out instructions from the Government of India. In the other two cases the Govern- ment of India acted on the advice of the Government Law Officers It is denied that the overtiment of India, which is composed wholly of Europeans, strained the law to prejudice their own countrymen. They were actuated solely by a desire to hold the scales of justice evenly between man and man, whether European or native. The British India Association call upon the Government of India to do various things, but the Government reply that they are not prepared to take further action in the matter.

London, February 4.- The Times dis cussing the reply of the Government of India to the Bengal memorial, recognizes the complexity and difficulty of the questions involved, but believes that the noble efforts of Lord Curzon and his colleagues, in the face of unpopularity and opposition, will ameliorate the re- lations between Europeans and Indians and save his successors a harassing and thankless task.

The Sanitary Board being convinced of the necessity of CLEANLINESS in its Efforts to stamp out Plague is determinedi to rigorously prosecute any owner in default after the 29th FEBRUARY.

NOTE: The Boundaries of the above Districts have been ALTERED and are

now as follows : ---

The Eastern Division of the City is bounded on the West by Graham Street and Endicott Street.

The Eastern Division of Kowloon is bounded on the West by Robinson Road and a end thereof through the Yaumati service straight line drawn from the North reservoir to the Northorn boundary of Kowloon.

TO PREVENT GROUP, begin in time.

The first symptom is hoarseness this is soon followed by a peculiar rough cough, which is easily recognised and will never be forgotten by one who has heard It. The time to act is when the child first becomes hoarse. If Chamberlain's Cough Romedy is freely given, all tendency to croup will soon disappear. Even after the croupy cough has developed, it will pre- vent the attack. There is no danger in For giving this remedy as it contains nothing injurious. It always eures, and cures quickly.
