The Stone Lloyd system has already been fitted to a number of the largest of the Norddeutscher-Lloyd liners, and it is stated that the German Emperor intends 10 have it put into all the ships of his Navy. The London and. North-Western Railway Company's Holyhead to Dublin steamer Scotia is the only British vessel thus equipped at present.
