Extensive orders are very frequently given for steel railway and other bridges for the East and in view of the develop ment of railway construction, auch oder will continue to be issued in increased
volume for many years to come. It is the intention of the Company to undertake the obstruction of such work, from which large profits are expected to be realised.
For several years past there has been & demand by the smaller of the Japanese Railways for the purchase of tocometivos and rolling stock to be paid for ou tho hire-purchase system; hitherto no English builders have seen their way to supply any rolling stock on the terms named, and it in the intention of the Company to supply snal demands under proper guarantees for payment, and from which large profits are also expected to be realised,
The Company therefore start work under vory favourable conditions and with a con- nection already established to about 6 per cont, of the total manufacturitz capacity of the works, which is sufficient in itself to pay handsome dividends to the share- holders; and in view of the development of railways in the East ne cliticulty is antici pated in securing orders to keep the Com pany's werks constantly going to its almost capacity. The Company will have no difficulty in securing all the skilled labour necessary on the spot, which will be direct- ed by the Manager and supervised by thoroughly skilled forensen from home.
