Hongkong Tides. The Tide Table given below has been compiled by the Nautical Almanac Office in London from the result of the analysis of observations taken by means of an au- tomatic do-recording machine in the Wa- te: Police Basin at Tam Sha Tsui during
years 1887-8.9.

The zero of the table is Low Water Or- Sinary Spring Tides, which has been found
o'be 2 feet below mean sea levoi.
To obtain the depth of water on the tide the Victoria Naval Yard add a ft. swage 7 in, and on the gange at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 12 ft. 9 in to the height given in the table.
