of observations taken by means of an au-
tomatic tide recording machine in the Wa
ter Polico Basin at Tsim Sha Trai during the 1887-8-9,

The zero of the table is Low Water Or dinary Spring Tides, which has been found
to be 2 feet below mean sea level.
To obtain the depth of water on the tide gauge at the Victoria Naval Yard mid 5 ft.
? in, and on the gaugo at Lamont Dook, Aberdeen, add 12 ft. 9 in. the height given in the table.
