The Tide Table given below has been compiled by the Nautical Almanac Office in London from the results of the analysis of observations taken by means of an automa- tie tide recording machine in the Water Police Basin at Taum Sha Tsui during the years 1887-8-9.
The wero of the table is Low Water Or dinary Spring Tides, which has been feand
to be 2 fact below mean sas jovol.
To obtain the depth of water on the tide gage at the Victoria Naval Yard add 3 ft. 7 in, and on the "gange at Lamont Dock, Aberdeen, add 12 ft 9 in, to the height given in the table.
