Hongkong Tides.

The Tide Table given below has been compiled by the Nautical Almanac Dilice in London from the results of the analysis of observations takon by means of an automa the tide recording machine in the Water Police Basin at Taim Sha Tsul during the years 1837-8-9.

The zero of the table is Low Water Or-

dinary Spring Tides, which has been found

to

be 2 fent balow mean sea level.

To obtain the depth of water on the lide gauge at the Victoria Naral Yard nåd & ft. 7 in., and

od on the gauge at Lamont Dock, 12 it. 9 in. to the height in the table.
