Rumov has been busy with the name of our Colonial Secretary during the past month or two, and our morning contempo rary capped those rumours by stating that the Hon. J. H. Stewart Lockhart, it is said, is desirous of being transferred to another Colony. Should that boar- ranged, report points to the Hon. F. H.. May as Mr Lockhart's successor as Üólónial Secretary, while the. Hon. W. C. JI. Hastings would take Mr May's place Captain Superintendent of Police.
