We are sorry to learn that some di culties have arisen with regard to the treatment of plague patients in Hong- kong on account of some differences among the various members of the medical staff. It will be remembered that arrangements were made on Saturday last for the removal of the ordinary patients in the Alice Mothorial and Nethersole Hospitals to the Govern-. ant Civil Hospital in order that the medical and nursing staffs of those institutions should be free to devate their attention to plague patients in the temporary hospitals at Kennedy Town. Dr Burtco, Mrs Stevens and their staff were placed at the disposal of the Permanent Committee on Mon-
