the wants of many studenta of Chinese caused by the discontinuance of "Noter and Queries on China and Japan,' has reached its Twenty-first Volume. The Reviews discus968 those topics which aro uppermost in the minds of students of the Far East and about which evory intelligent person con- nected with China or Japan is desirous of waiting trustworthy information. it ta- oludos many interesting Nota and originał: Papers on the Arts, Brionces, Ethnology, Folkdore, Geography, History, Litorature, Mythology Natural History, Antiquition, and Social Manners and Customs, etc., etc., of China, Japan, Mongolia, Tibet, and the Far East generally.
