The illuminating apparatus is Fixed Dioptric of the Sixth Ordor, showing a red light between the North-Western shoulder of Lan-Kong-Tau Island and 8. 46' V., a white light between S. 461 W. and S. 8° W., and a red light between S. 287 W. round by East and North to N. 234" W.

The bearings are magnetic and from Bea- word.

The Light in exhibited at an elevation of 61 fest above the level of the set, upuu ko iron framework, painted white, which stauda near the western shoulder of Obser- ratory Island, and in clear weather the white light should be visible at a distance of 6 and the red 1 ght at 4 nautical milea.
