In the 'Aneroid' Cup. a shart bead. Mr Tell's table had a special show, the three horses bearing the white- and-red coming in first, second and third. The match between Mr J. D. Humphreys Valour and Me Fraser-Smith's Mac was an extra agent which resulted in an easy win for Mr Humphreys' pony.

One of the ponies in the Bunten Mufuos' Race (Mir Sid's Ganges) threw his rider and went the journey alone. He ecotinued his CarCur after the fish for some time, and then disappeared from the course. It appears that the pony was afterwards seen racios along Queen's Road, having got as far as the Club.

The races were finished in good light, not- withstanding the lengthy programmo. An neual the arrangements at the course were excellent all througls the meeting, sud the traffic between the city and Happy Valley during the four daya was well regulated by the police.
