THE CHINA REVIEW,
PUBLISEED BI-MONTHLY,
TENTH YEAR.
THIS Reciom, which was intended to meet tho wants of my students of Chinese caused by the discon tiziuaues of Notes and Querits on China and Japan, has reached its Fourteenth Volume. The Review discusses these topics which are uppermost in the minds of students of the Far Eael' aud about which avery intelligent person con- oectod with Uhina or Japan is desirous of acquiring trustworthy information. It in- cludes many interoating Notes and original Papers on the Arte, Sciences, Ethnology, Folklore, Geography, History, Literature, Mythology, Natural History, Antiquities, and Sound Mariners and Cantons, sic, etc., of China, Jaya, Mongolia, Tibel, and the Far East gevurally. Recently a new de parture had been taken, and the frien gives papers on Trado, Commerce, and writers. It was thought that by extending Descriptive notos of Travel by well-known the scope of the Horfes in this direction, the Magazine would be mademore generally useful.
The Rovio department receives special attention, and endeavours are made to present a careful and concise record of Literature on China' etc., and to give 0.25 critiquos embodying sketches of the Most racent works on such topies. Authors and Publishers are requested to forward works to Editor, China Revier, caro of China Mail Once,
