SAILING RACES
A handicap sailing race took place on Sa. turday afternoon. The course was from the V. R.. C. round the white buoy off Cosmopolitan. Dock, rauid Stonecutter's Island and back to the starting point. A good start was effected at about 1.45, the Chameleon crossing the line first with a good Icad. The Fix c, owing to some misur.der standing, had to go round the buoy, which cakeed her to lose a couple of minutes. The wind waoderate from the E., with puf from the E. N.B. to the E.S.E Nearing the Kowloong whaerea the Ella drew ahead and rounded the buoy rat, 6 minutes ahead of the Chameleon, the others boats close behind. With the wind right aft the Ella drew further away and was the first round Stonocutter'e Island, followed by the Chanteloun.
